This overview will help to understand the place and role of GWT-PF in project.
Are you planning to support GWT-EXT widgets on UI side? GWT-PF framework seems to be promising but without GWT-EXT its value is diminished for us.
Thanks, -MG
Yes, we are going to include GWT-EXT widgets support. That would be possible with new flexible ui-components architecture, we've got ideas already.
We've planed to start developing this in a few months, but could consult if you'd like start earlier.
Actually we've got a newer version of GWT-PF, but haven't separated it from commercial project. We do need to refactor that code before release.
In the older one, that you've got from sourceforge, we've fixed couple minor bugs & would release as bundle on SF in a few days. Right now you could checkout it from our svn on coge.google:
Do you have the updated framework current with the new GWT? Can you use it with Google App Engine Datastore?
no, currently it doesn't support Google App Engine. It uses previous GWT version. If you'd like to give a try - please leave a feedback afterwards.
